There’s lots of fun you can have to celebrate the release of Disney-Pixar’s newest film, Monsters University! You can now create your own monster with the Monsters University create a monster app. Plus, you can download your own Monsters University coloring page or Monsters University ID.

When creating your own monster with the Monsters University create a monster app, you will first select the monster body type. You have ten different options to choose from. Next, you will select which color you would like your monster to be. There are five different colors to choose from. Then, you can customize your monster by adding accessories! There are lots of choices including, hair styles, hats, horns, wings, eye lashes, and more! Lastly, don’t forget to name your monster and then you can even share it with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr; download your monster; or print your monster, complete with its Monsters University Identification card. You can create as many monster friends as you’d like!

Six Tips for a Successful Disney Spa Day

Here, you can invigorate both your mind and body at this retreat that is reminiscent of a serene Floridian garden at the turn of the 20th century. Senses also boasts a soothing array of unique therapies including facials, massages, body wraps and aromatherapy that are designed to have you both looking and feeling your best.

Here are six tips to help you have a successful Disney spa day at Senses, a Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, or any other Disney spa:

  • Ask questions! It is important to ask any questions ahead of time and communicate any special needs or requests when you book your appointment.
  • Don’t Shave! It is actually recommended that you do not shave before any body treatments. However, shaving is recommended for men two hours prior to having a facial.
  • Enjoy the Spa! Try to arrive approximately 30 minutes early to your appointment so you are able to savor the amazing amenities before your treatment.
  • Unwind and unplug! The spa does request that you turn off your cell phone and electronics when you enter the spa in order to allow everyone to enjoy their pampering in peace and quiet.
  • Be comfortable! Make sure you let someone know if you experience any discomfort from the room temperature to the massage pressure, music volume, or any other condition. Remember, that is your time, so don’t be afraid to speak up!
  • Make sure you’re hydrated! It is important to drink plenty of water throughout your spa day. This helps your body to eliminate toxins and will even help you feel better after your treatment!

Disney Junior’s Pirate and Princess Summer Kicks Off Today

Disney Junior’s Pirate and Princess Summer starts today, Friday, June 14, 2013 on Disney Junior the Channel at 9 am EST!

All summer long, Sofia the First and hit series Jake and the Never Land Pirates will alternate with Friday premieres every week between June 14 and August 23 on both the Disney Channel (9:00 a.m. EST) and Disney Junior the Channel (5:00 p.m. EST).

Pay TV subscribers will even be able to watch the shows a week in advance on WATCHDisneyJunior.com and via the WATCH Disney Junior apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod.

Plus, both shows will feature guest stars! Academy Award nominee Viola Davis (The Help) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) will be on Sofia the First while Jerry O’Connell (Crossing Jordan) will be on Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Jasmine will also make her very first appearance on Sofia the First.
