For the first time ever, Disney Parks are closed for 2 full weeks. I know thousands of guests had to cancel their Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney Cruise vacations. 

Since we are all stuck inside, I’m sure you and your family are craving some Disney fun at home! Here are some fun ideas to create a little Disney magic at home with your family.

Disney Puzzle Time

Puzzles are a wonderful way to pass the time and enjoy quality time with your family! If you are looking to add some new puzzles to your collection, the Dollar Tree usually has a great selection for kids just $1 or there are some more challenging options on Amazon like the Disney Villains, Disney Classics Collage, Disney Princess Collage, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Toy Story. 

Disney Movie Night

If you have Disney+, you can find so many incredible Disney movies, from animated classics to the newly released Frozen II. If you don’t subscribe to Disney+ or are just looking to add to your Disney movie collection, you can order Frozen II, Moana, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, the Complete Toy Story Collection, or Toy Story 4. 

Mickey Mouse Cinnamon Rolls

Disney Family has a Mickey Mouse cinnamon roll recipe that you can make from home with your preferred brand of cinnamon rolls (or homemade dough). If you thought Mickey Mouse pancakes were easy, just wait until you try these cinnamon rolls! You can find many more Disney recipes here. 

Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

You can always celebrate your un-birthday with an Alice in Wonderland tea party! You could make these cheshire cat cookies and cupcakes or your favorite flavor of cupcakes, topped with these fun toppers. There’s even a recipe for these edible teacup treats. Learn How to Draw a Disney Character

YouTube has tons of videos to help teach you how to draw your favorite Disney character! Some of our favorites include Mickey Mouse, Genie, Daisy Duck, Anna, TinkerBell, Buzz Lightyear, Pluto, Pascal, Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, Jack Skellington, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Play Disney Heads Up

Have you ever played the Disney version of Heads Up? You may have even seen fellow Disney Parks guests playing this game while waiting in line for an attraction! The Disney Parks themed deck features iconic attractions, characters and experiences.The Heads Up app is available for $0.99 in iOS or free on Android. Some other fun Disney games to help you pass the time are Disney Hedbanz, Disney Color Brain, Disney Eye Found It, and Disney Family Feud. 

Have a Disney Parks Music Dance Party

If you have Apple Music, you can listen to Disney Parks Hits. Pandora also has some great Disney stations, even without a subscription. Or, if you want a CD, we recommend the Walt Disney World Official Album, Disney Classics, or Disney Theme Parks Classics. 

Take the Pixar in a Box Course on Khan Academy

Khan Academy, a free learning resource for all ages, has a FREE course called Pixar in a Box which allows you learn about the storytelling process at Pixar. They also just released another FREE course, Imagineering in a Box, which allows you to explore different aspects of theme park design, from characters to ride development, as you design a theme park of your very own.
