While details about ship names, designs, and itineraries are still under wraps, one thing is certain: there will be more opportunities to revel in Disney’s world-class dining, stellar entertainment, and unparalleled hospitality.
From Zero to Hero: Disney Cruise Line to Debut “Disney Hercules” Stage Show
Greek mythology meets Broadway magic as “Disney Hercules” takes center stage on the Disney Destiny in November 2025. This dynamic, Broadway-style show promises to capture the essence of the beloved animated film with a fresh, modern twist.
Mythical Melodies: A New Take on a Timeless Tale
Developed specifically for the Disney Destiny, this vibrant retelling will honor the story and spirit of the original movie while introducing bold, contemporary elements. Expect show-stopping musical numbers, stunning visuals, immersive projections, and the kind of creative brilliance that spans from classical theatre to pop music influences.
What to Expect: The Gospel Truth
In this spectacular production, the Muses will guide us through Hercules’ epic journey of good versus evil. Fans will recognize their favorite songs from the film and can look forward to the debut of the heartfelt ballad “Shooting Star.” With arrangements that highlight the pop and gospel vibes, “Disney Hercules” is set to be a show for the ages.
All the Ship’s a Stage: Entertainment Abounds
Beyond the marvels of “Disney Hercules,” the Disney Destiny offers entertainment at every turn. From interactive performances and spontaneous character encounters to live music and game shows, there’s never a dull moment. And don’t miss the all-new “Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King” dining experience, where you can dine amidst the dramatic tableaus of the African savanna.
First Look: New Rendering from “Disney The Tale of Moana” Premiering on Disney Treasure This Year
Later this year, the Disney Treasure will bring Moana’s epic adventure to life with “Disney The Tale of Moana.” We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of one of the climactic moments from this Broadway-style production.
Artist Concept for “Disney The Tale of Moana”
In a spectacular scene, Moana faces off against Te Kā, the towering lava monster. This fifteen-foot-tall puppet is the most massive ever created for a Disney Cruise Line show. Watch as Moana summons her bravery to restore the heart of Te Fiti, transforming Te Kā into the radiant green goddess she truly is.
Alongside Moana, many beloved characters will be reimagined as puppets, with the young hero herself being portrayed uniquely by skilled puppeteers. The intricate puppetry is the brainchild of Jeff Conover and Michael Curry, known for their outstanding work on Broadway’s “The Lion King.”
We can’t wait to help our guests experience these enchanting adventures firsthand. If you’re ready to embark on a journey packed with magic and marvels, contact us today at siera@spreadingmagic.com or +1 734-771-1290. Let’s plan a Disney Cruise you’ll never forget!
