Walt Disney Imagineering has installed a Springs Bottling Co. Marquee on top of the building that is the future location of Morimoto Asia. The sign is part of the Disney Springs story which pays tribute to Florida’s waterfront towns at the turn of the century since the building was formerly used as Springs Bottling Co., the town’s bottling company. The inside of Morimoto Asia will continue to honor the theme and history of Disney Springs.

Check out this time-lapse video of how the Imagineers put up the new marquee literally over night! The new sign is already part of the illuminated nighttime skyline at Downtown Disney!

The Waterview Stage, which can be found adjacent to the future home of The BOATHOUSE, is already home to nightly entertainment as well as spectacular views of Village Lake. You can find specific showtimes on a Times Guide.

The Food Trucks at Exposition Park on the West Side will be opening tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25, 2014. This will be the permanent home for the Downtown Disney owned and operated food trucks that serve delicious culinary creations along the water. The food trucks have items from Disney Parks such as chicken and waffles or tandoori spiced shrimp. The area will offer additional seating for dinners and shaded areas during the day.

The Landing, the first phase of Disney Springs, has already brought a new pedestrian bridge between Portobello and Paradiso 37. This makes it easier to access The West Side than ever before. Plus,

The West Garage (the first of two planned garages for Disney Springs) is opening in phases and is now available for guest parking!

By the time Disney Springs is complete, there will be:

  • Dedicated bus lanes separate from the traffic for guests using the buses
  • A beautiful spring as the center of the new Disney Springs
  • Marketplace Causeway connecting T-Rex to Rainforest Cafe

There are a lot of exciting transformations and additions happening at Disney Springs! Which are you most looking forward to seeing?
