Stavanger
Located at the mouth of the Gandsfjord in southwestern Norway, Stavanger offers fun for adventure lovers and history buffs alike. For once-in-a-lifetime adventure, hike to Pulpit Rock, the famous rocky cliff with sweeping views of Scandinavia and the fjord 2,000 feet below. Olden sits on the southern edge of Nordfjorden, a 66-mile-long fjord. This peaceful village, home to only about 500 residents, is an idyllic place to relax and enjoy the surrounding mountains, glaciers and lush farmland. Visit Briksdal Glacier, the largest glacier on the European mainland, or enjoy a photo opp from Nos Viewpoint, 1,640 feet above the fjord. For adventure, go fishing, sailing or wild-water rafting.

This 8-day, 7-night adventure is brand new for 2014 and will show you the majestic beauty and quaint villages in Norway. You and your family will have the rare opportunity to follow in the filmmakers’ footsteps while you hike, raft, and traverse the awe-inspiring terrain.

Meet Characters from Disney’s Upcoming Film Frozen

Have you heard about “Frozen,” Disney’s latest animated comedy adventure from the creators of “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph?” The story is about fearless and optimistic heroine Anna as well as her sister with a secret, Elsa, and even a hysterical snowman, Olaf.

This November, the enchanting story and characters from “Frozen” will come to life with new experiences at Disney Parks. Olaf is preparing a special, snow-capped spot in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, where you can visit with Anna and Elsa. At the Walt Disney World Resort, the royal sisters will be appearing at the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, where you can also check out a new gallery exhibit exploring how the culture and beauty of Norway-inspired the filmmakers in the creation of “Frozen.”

Plus, in the evenings during this holiday season, a sequence celebrating “Frozen” will be added to “Celebrate the Magic,” the nighttime projection show that transforms Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Olaf will also play host for the exciting new nighttime experience, “World of Color – Winter Dreams” at Disney California Adventure park.
