5, 4, 3, 2…fun! Join us for a playfully fun evening during Disneyland After Dark: Pixar Nite at Disney California Adventure park. This special, after-park hours event will celebrate some of the world’s best-loved stories and characters from Pixar Animation Studios with unique entertainment, special food, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, collectible merchandise and more.

Disneyland After Dark: Pixar Nite takes place on Mar. 5 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Disney California Adventure park. Pal around at these can’t-miss experiences:

Dance Parties

Boogie the night away during a record-breaking Scare Day with best buds Mike and Sulley. Join the crazy fun as we party with our pals from “Monsters, Inc.” and “Monsters University,” all night long in Hollywood Land! For a retro-cool vibe, head to Paradise Gardens Park and show your moves at the Incredibles Party Zone.

“Super Looks” fashion walk

Come dressed in your best! Visionary designer Edna Mode will be the judge at this fashion walk, so everyone’s invited to show off their incredible attire.

Limited-time food

Sample a Remy-approved menu of delightful sips and bites. Special Pixar-inspired menu offerings we can’t wait to taste include a Blueberry and Vanilla Shake, and Chocolate and Coffee-flavored Sponge Cake. For savory cravings, try the Corn Dog Barbecued Pork Belly with Barbecue Sauce and Pineapple. Yum!

Photo opportunities

Step into playful photo backdrops featuring your favorite films and some classic Pixar shorts, including “For the Birds,” “Geri’s Game,” as well as other immersive locations! You’ll also receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event.

The Happiest Place on Earth transforms into the most romantic for Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts Nite at Disneyland park. Love will definitely be in the air during this special, after-park hours event, which includes unique entertainment, special food, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, collectible merchandise and more.

While the event on February 13 is already sold out, there are still tickets available for you to take your special someone on February 12! Sweethearts Nite takes place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Disneyland park. Here’s what we have planned for the ultimate Disney date night:

Magical entertainment

Hop aboard the Mark Twain for a moonlight cruise. If you’re looking to get in the groove, boogie down at a love song-themed dance party. For a nostalgic treat, Golden Horseshoe will be transformed into “Tempus Fugit Celebration,” paying tribute to Walt and Lillian Disney’s 30th anniversary party held just four days before Disneyland Park opened in 1955 (presented by D23: The official Disney Fan Club).

Character encounters

Enjoy encounters with darling Disney couples, including Princess Tiana and Naveen, Hercules and Megara, and of course, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Royal Princess Ball 

Waltz beside the world’s best-loved Disney couples at a glitzy royal ball, featuring Aurora and Prince Phillip, Jasmine and Aladdin, Cinderella and Prince Charming and others!

Limited-time food

Savor a scrumptious menu of sweet and savory shareables. Yummy nibbles and sips to look forward to include the Pucker Up Churro at the Tomorrowland cart and Sweet Cherry-Nova Milkshake at Galactic Grill. At Plaza Inn, the Sweethearts Dining Package will feature a three-course prix fixe meal of Spaghetti and Meatballs plate, Caesar Salad, Herbed Breadsticks, Cannoli and Beverage. Reservations are recommended and will be available to book on Disneyland.com starting Feb. 7.

Four Unique Themes Planned for Early 2020 Disneyland After Dark Events

Disneyland After Dark—the specially themed, after-hours park experience featuring unique entertainment, special food, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, collectible merchandise and more—kicks off 2020 with four distinct events at the Disneyland Resort! Four unique themes are planned for the early 2020 Disneyland After Dark events.

These separately ticketed evening events grant you special access to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure park after closing. Select attractions will also remain open exclusively for event guests, usually with shorter wait times! In addition, you’ll receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party to capture all of your Disneyland After Dark memories.

80s Nite

Jan. 29, Disneyland Park

Stroll down memory lane during this throwback bash packed with totally tubular fun! Dust off those leg warmers, shoulder pads and other vintage looks for 80s Nite to enjoy:

  • “Flashback To Videopolis!” takeover of the Fantasyland Theatre with a live VJ, music videos and dancers boogieing to the decade’s hottest hits.

Ring In May the Fourth at Star Wars Nite with Disneyland After Dark

Get ready to ring in May the Fourth at Star Wars Nite – the second after-hours event in the new Disneyland After Dark series. On the evening of May 3, guests at this celebration of all things from a galaxy far, far away will be the first to experience the new “March of the First Order,” to meet Rey at Star Wars Launch Bay, and to celebrate the return of Hyperspace Mountain!

Come dressed in your favorite Star Wars attire for this one-night-only event, which will also feature:

  • Exclusive after-hours access to Disneyland park, with mix-in access beginning at 6 p.m.
  • Special entertainment, including character encounters and more!
  • Themed décor and immersive Star Wars-themed photo opportunities.

Disneyland Throwback Nite to Kick Off Disneyland After Dark Events

When night falls, the Disneyland Resort lights up with even more magic – and beginning next year, you will be able to experience this enchanting time with a new series of events. Disneyland After Dark kicks off January 18 with its first after-hours event – Disneyland Throwback Nite!

Step back in time to the ‘50s and ‘60s for a taste of the classic after-dark experience at Disneyland. Come dressed in your best to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth under a million twinkling lights, swinging to the tune of the bands and enjoying your favorite rides in the cool moonlight ‘till the clock strikes 1 a.m.!

Original attraction posters of Disneyland experiences from yesteryear welcome you as you commemorate the evening with special photo locations – and unlimited digital downloads are included with your event admission! Live music and dancing bring the bygone era to life throughout the park, and the sky lights up with an exclusive showing of “Fantasy in The Sky” fireworks. Guests will receive a commemorative lanyard and a vintage-inspired park map that will highlight the special experiences taking place throughout the evening.

This trip down memory lane will truly be one for the ages! Tickets for Disneyland’s Throwback Nite will be available on Disneyland.com for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders beginning Nov. 30 and for general public beginning Dec. 7.
