Can you believe that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties will return to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in just a few short weeks? This year’s Halloween parties will celebrate Halloween with a special parade, fireworks, trick-or-treating, a rare character greeting opportunity, new Halloween entertainment, and more! Boys and ghouls of all ages are invited to enjoy a spooktacular time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2013.

This year’s event will mark the first appearance of Jack Skellington and Sally (from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”) at Magic Kingdom. You can find these two in the Town Square area of Main Street, U.S.A for meet and greets.

Phineas and Ferb will also be on Main Street, U.S.A., to take charge of the Creepa Crew this year and get you warmed up for fun while you wait for the arrival of the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. This party favorite is back, complete with the Headless Horseman, Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes, as well as some ghostly friends from The Haunted Mansion.

Over in Tomorrowland, your favorite “Monsters, Inc.” scarers, Mike and Sulley, will be hosting their own Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball dance party on the Rockettower Plaza Stage.

Trick-or-treating will also be improved this year with more than 220 tons of candy! In addition to trick-or-treat stations, there will also be two treat trails – pathways that you can trick-or-treat through with multiple candy stops along the way. Plus, there may be one or two surprise treat locations to stop at along the way as well.

Two returning party favorites are the Boo-to-You Halloween parade, which features the Headless Horseman, Disney characters in Halloween regalia and the ghostly inhabitants of The Haunted Mansion. Another is the Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular, which illuminates the night in glittering color and light.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2013 will take place from 7 p.m. – midnight on September 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 & 29; October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31; and November 1. This event does require a special ticket and is not included in theme park admission.

Remember, dressing in costume (for all members of the family) is encouraged! It’s not too late to plan your family’s vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort and enjoy one of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween parties!
