There are some exciting events planned at the Walt Disney World Resort for unique and exclusive merchandise as well as a chance to meet some of the designers! Here is an overview of the May 2014 merchandise events at Disney World:
May 1 – 4: Look for special appearances by artist Larry Dotson at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace. Larry will also be at Main Street Cinema in Magic Kingdom Park from May 21 – 24 .
May 2: Ahoy! You can meet Disney Design Group artist Casey Jones from 5 – 7 p.m. at D Street in Downtown Disney West Side. She will be on hand to sign the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” Vinylmation Series 2.
May 2 – 3: You’re sure to find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day during the Chamilia Trunk Show, which will beheld throughout the day at Tren-D in Downtown Disney Marketplace.
May 4: You can “put some spring in your step” with A Perfect Petals Brunch, featuring the Disney Collection by Vera Bradley at World ShowPlace at Epcot on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
May 7 – 11: Artist Greg McCullough returns to Art of Disney in Epcot from May 7-11, at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace from May 21 – 25, and at Animation Gallery at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from May 28 – June 1.
May 8 – 12: Meet Precious Moments doll designer and artist Linda Rick at Once Upon A Toy in Downtown Disney Marketplace, May 8 – 11, as Disney debuts her collection inspired by Cinderella.
May 10 – 20: Artist David E. Doss will be appearing daily at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace. You can stop in and find a new piece of art to add to your collection!
May 17 – 18: Dana and Melanie Harvey from HARVEYS seatbeltbags will be at Walt Disney World Resort! You will have the opportunity to pick up some of the newest silhouettes inspired by the Pop Art Mickey collection. Plus, you can meet Dana and Melanie on May 17 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Tren-D in the Downtown Disney Marketplace; May 18 from 12:00 to 2 p.m. at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom Park; or May 18 from 5 -7 p.m. at Summer Lace at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
